About AniPix Blog
Last updated: 7 October 2026
AniPix Blog is a small independent blog about anime and gaming wallpapers. Everything here is written by one person — Lavkush Kumar — who builds and uses wallpaper apps and spends far too long deciding which picture goes on a lock screen.
What you will find here
The site publishes three kinds of article, and every one of them starts from the same idea: a wallpaper has to work on a real phone, at real size, while you are glancing at it in a hurry.
- Character wallpaper guides. A breakdown of a specific anime or game cast — what colour palette each character brings, which crop keeps their face in frame, and why the same image can look great as a lock screen and awkward as a home screen.
- Gaming write-ups. Honest notes on games we actually play, and which of their in-game or official art is worth saving.
- Practical guides. How to set a live wallpaper, why 1080×1920 matters, how to crop without cutting someone's head off, and how to tell a cel-shaded illustration from an AI-generated one.
How we write
We do not republish press releases, we do not pad articles to hit a word count, and we do not make up statistics. Where a number is uncertain — download sizes, for example — we say so and give a range rather than a precise figure we cannot stand behind. Where an opinion is subjective, we say that too.
Who writes this
AniPix Blog is written and maintained by Lavkush Kumar, an independent developer and anime fan based in New Delhi, India. He also builds AniPix, a free Android wallpaper app — which is how most of these guides started, as notes about what actually works on a phone screen.
